Indigenous Australian adventures - Monday 25 May, 11.00–16.00. Free, just drop in.
Discover the history of Australia with a whole week of activities for all the family inspired by the BP exhibition Indigenous Australia: enduring civilisation.
Be creative and make something to take home, help create a giant collaborative art work in the Great Court and listen to stories around Indigenous Australia with a storyteller. Activities run all week and each day has a different programme, so come back as often as you can.
Ideas and materials for families
Samsung Digital Discovery Centre - Free digital workshops every weekend;
Activity trails - Exciting free trails to follow at the Museum, suitable for children aged 3 - 5, and 6 - 11;
Gallery backpacks - Free activities in a backpack, available weekends and school holidays;
Art materials - Borrow crayons, pencils and pads. Just ask at the Families Desk in the Great Court;
Object handling - Free every day at Hands On desks;
Children's Multimedia Guide (£) - Join Vid the Alien and his friends for a tour of the highlight objects in the British Museum.
