This May half-term, dress up in Victorian clothes to travel back in time and discover what life was like for the workers who kept the Kew Bridge Pumping Station in steam. Get to grips with the tools that were used here to get London’s water pumping with a brand new family trail as well as a chance to handle rarely seen objects from the archive.

Come to the London Museum of Water & Steam for fun-filled days out – with engines in steam and a steam locomotive to ride each weekend. Enjoy our brand new Waterworks gallery filled with fun interactives exploring London's water story and the new outdoor water fun areas, the Splash Zone. There is lots to see and do for all ages.
Children’s birthday parties
The London Museum of Water & Steam is a great place to hold a child's party. A private room is available to hire and we can provide a range of activities to keep your younger guests entertained.
The room is available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11:00 to 13:00 or from 14.00 to 16:00. You have an hour beforehand to come and set up and you will have access to the Museum throughout your visit. The Museum Garden is perfect for some outdoor exploring on sunny days too! You are welcome to bring your own party food or you can order from Stokers Cafe.
