Chiswick and Hammersmith NCT now offers Baby First Aid Course in conjunction with British Red Cross. The course provides you with practical training and the chance to get ‘hands on’ so you have the skills and the confidence to know what to do in an emergency.
The two hour session will be relaxed with the opportunity for parents to practice techniques and ask questions. Babes in arms are welcome and the course content is suitable for parents of children up to the age of six.
Parents will learn about:
- Unconscious baby (breathing or not breathing)
- Choking
- Bleeding
- Burns
- Raised temperature
The course costs £40 for a single participant or £70 for couples.
Next course dates, held in Grove Neighbourhood Centre, 7 Bradmore Park Road W6 0DT are:
Saturday, 13th April, 10am - 12noon
Saturday, 13th April, 2pm - 4pm
Saturday, 25th May, 10am - 12noon
Saturday, 25th May, 2pm - 4pm
You can also register your interest for courses that will be running in July.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
